Serenity's Bane
did this today while watching Serenity...this character is so great...he's a badass and his lines are awesome, kind of Shakespearean. He reminds me of a Knight or something...he has loyalty and honor, so he is a villain i can respect. Anyway, done with a smaller than usual Raphael brush cuz all my No 2's are shot. this is on printer paper so it warped a bit in some spots... this guy is a great actor too!

Cover concept
here's a book cover idea... notice that the title is illegible, cuz it actually doesnt say anything, i just sorta scribbled and it looked cool so i went with it...this character is based on Inuit folklore.

loved this show so much, i had to do some quick sketches of some of my favorite characters... actually i like them all... i always had a thing for Summer Glau though, so I took special care with drawing her.
